I was admitted to the hospital the end of April. I received a few thousand dollars bill that my insurance didn't cover. I made a huge payment the first time and every few days I would receive a call from the hospital telling me I needed to pay my bill. I told them that I was going to be making payments of 500.00 to get it paid. They said no problem and took me off the phone calls. Today after the bill was paid, I get a letter from a collection agency saying I have to pay the bill now. I am so furious, this affects my credit rating. I have excellent credit and I can't believe that after making those huge payments that they told me was fine, they turn it over to a collection agency. I will never go to that hospital again!

Plan to prosecute to the fullest possible means.. I was at the hospital with my 2yr old on Friday.. his twin brother with me.. I was deeply concerned about possible concussion.. he had a lump on his forehead when I picked him up from school.. his eyes were off and balance weak. School said he was sleepy and a lol warm after his nap.. so I rush there cause it’s closest.. they c his temp is 103.. do an X-ray in his bed .. claim he has pneumonia.. Never call a pulmonologist.. never do a breathing treatment.. never check his pulse ox.. but want to put iv in for antibiotics and do blood work.. when I ??? And say no I want to take him to children’s for 2nd opinion.. they claim I have to sign an A.M.A. Threats to call CYS.. I sign refuse to transport by ambulance and leave for children’s.. Guess What his medical records and X-ray were all falsified.. to make me look bad.. Children’s re did X-rays he had zero signs of pneamonia.. they checked out his head and brain waves guess what he had fever seizure.. children’s said to report the dr and nurses to ethics board .. I plan to take it further.. Ridiculous.. ignorant staff.. who treated my son poorly

Edit: Went to PCP, took one look and diagnosed cellulitis, which was advanced by this time. Had the doctor literally taken 5 seconds to move the sheet and look after I asked, could have been caught earlier.

The people here are great. They seem to know what they are doing and are kind. The cleanliness of the hospital is bad. 3 different stall seats in the restrooms in the emergency area had urine on them and one had feces. The emergency room we were in had some substance on the wall that looked as if it was splattered their. The floor under the bed had what looked like blood on it as well as garbage and dirt on all the floors we saw in the hospital. It looks as if they have no one here to clean.

being a long time resident of the area I was expecting a poor to average experience during my outpatient surgery today. I was totally shocked by the attitude and professionalism of the staff. This hospital has stremlined all of the red tape down to a minimum. I have complete confidence in this hospital.

This review is for the ER. Went for calf swelling that I was concerned may be a blood clot. Nurses and registration were very nice and efficient. However, take note that they don't have any ultrasound services available overnight, which is odd for an emergency room and hospital with a labor and delivery unit. On call doctor had ZERO bedside manner, never even looked at my leg or touched me, just said " no ultrasound available, I'll give a shot of blood thinner and come back in the morning".
