I'm use to grocery stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joes or the Giant Eagle's Market District locations. Whenever you go to one of them, you are in and out quickly.
The very worst pharmacy in Fayette County. Pharmacist Nicole acts like she owns the pharmacy and her & her staff are horrible to paying customers. I was verbally attacked in a vicious manner by 2 different employees (Brandyn & Delores) on 3 separate occasions. Store Management. Staff & personal contacts in the store heard the attacks & saw me in tears. Not only did Nicole not reprimand either, she was involved & let it go on. When l contacted Customer Service they did nothing & had me talk to pharmacy supervisor. That guy told me "Well if they do not like you why are you here? You should go elsewhwere" He never reprimanded either however Brandyn was fired for attacking someone else. I may add bot Brandyn & Delores are personal friends of Nicole. Well l did go elsewhere & the pharmacy l go to is polite, professional & friendly.
Not here! Whenever I shop here, I always use the self check out. It's the easiest way for me to quickly check out without standing in line forever. Now they decided to remove these lanes. Yesterday I stood behind a person that had what felt like 50 coupons and several items while I had three. I had to wait while all the coupons were sorted and then of course there was a problem and finally after 10-15 minutes of checking out this ONE person, I asked where the self check outs were and the reply was "we are getting rid of them."
Why? So folks that have a couple items have to wait in line for a long time? The other weird thing is, they don't have baskets. I inquired about this as well and they said "people were stealing them." Ok, other stores place those chip things on them. I don't like taking a cart around when I just need 5 items but it can be awkward to carry them. I feel like this location just does these things to make it a bit harder to be in and out quickly. I'm glad I only visit my family in Uniontown so I don't frequent it anymore.
Our local Giant Eagle is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful there. Most of the employees have been there for years, even the newer employees are courteous. There is one that talks about all the customers but I avoid her because I like all the others. Also, everything is always really fresh.
Kind of expensive compared to the other supermarkets around here, but the quality of their products is much better. Excellent lunch meat and produce.
